What belongs in XTF News.
News is for material changes with a confirmed source: a program status, an active opportunity, an institutional decision, a verified portfolio publication, a new method or policy, a correction or an archive notice.
Each item should connect readers to the page where the current terms or underlying work can be examined. A social post, draft poster, private conversation or third-party description does not become an XTF announcement unless the information has been verified and published through an authorised route.
Evergreen thinking, research methods and working principles belong in Ideas or Research rather than being repackaged as institutional news.
Roadshow platform / Monthly series
One event, one complete public record.
STF organises project roadshows every month. XTF News will document each confirmed event rather than filling the calendar with invented dates, venues, teams or outcomes.
Jury and decision roles
Name reviewers only after role, affiliation, conflicts and publication permission are confirmed.
Teams and groups
Record approved team names, presenters and group structure without exposing unnecessary personal data.
Projects and evidence shown
Link each project record and distinguish presentation claims from documented or independently supported evidence.
Award and follow-up status
Publish official results only from the approved list and identify when investment or support decisions remain separate.
Keep the record current
Show the owner, published date, last update and correction route for every event record.

Confirms a change to a program route and links to the page containing current eligibility, dates, responsibilities and terms.
A verified way to participate
Announces a confirmed application, mentoring, partnership or support route without collecting information outside its published process.
A material change at XTF
Records an authorised decision, policy, governance disclosure, contact change or operational development at an appropriate level.
A verified project or Fellow record
Links to work published only after stage, evidence, contribution, attribution and permission have been checked.
A new substantive resource
Introduces a verified guide, note or research item and points to its sources, method, review status, version and limitations.
A change to the public record
Explains what was corrected, superseded or archived while preserving enough context to prevent an old claim being mistaken for current information.

Every item needs a source, owner and current state.
A headline alone cannot carry the operational details of a program or institutional change.
State the change directly
Use specific language that does not turn interest, planning or discussion into a confirmed result.
Identify the kind of update
Label program status, opportunity, institutional update, portfolio publication, resource, correction or archive.
Show published and updated state
Provide date and revision context only when the item is actually released or materially changed.
Name responsibility
Identify the XTF page, role or authorised record responsible for the information and any relevant supporting source.
Keep current and archived states visible
Make it clear when an opportunity has closed, a document has been replaced or a statement no longer describes the present.
Link to the source of truth
Direct readers to the full program, policy, project, research or contact page rather than asking them to act from a summary.

Check the facts before adding urgency.
Institutional communication should make decisions easier, not create pressure from incomplete information.
Confirm authority.
Identify who is responsible for the information and whether they can authorise its publication.
Confirm operational detail.
Check dates, eligibility, terms, contact routes, rights and status against the page that will govern participation.
Confirm attribution.
Verify names, roles, organisations, images, quotations and permission before implying involvement or endorsement.
Confirm the evidence.
Match project and impact claims to the available record and preserve the actual stage and limitations.
Plan the update.
Assign responsibility for closing, correcting, replacing or archiving the item when its state changes.
A correction is part of the publication, not an embarrassment to hide.
Maintain the public record.
When a material factual error is verified, the current item should be corrected and the nature of the change made understandable. If an update has been superseded, the archived item should direct readers to the current source.
Minor spelling or formatting changes do not need to become a public event. Changes that affect participation, attribution, rights, claims, safety, decisions or interpretation do.

The calendar will show facts, not placeholders.
Confirmed roadshow records will state date, place, reviewers, teams, groups, projects and follow-up. The current 2026 Summer showcase projects are available in the Portfolio.
Roadshow participation, an award or publication does not by itself mean STF has invested. Investment decisions remain subject to a separate assessment, due diligence, approval and definitive documents.

When will individual roadshow posts appear?
Each roadshow post will appear after its operational details and publication permissions are confirmed. The page will not invent dates, venues, juries, teams, awards or investment outcomes.
How do I know an opportunity is open?
Only a current program page linked from Current opportunities can confirm an opening and its eligibility, dates and terms.
Does a social post change program terms?
No. The current program page and published terms govern participation. A short post should link to that source rather than replace it.
Will partnership announcements appear here?
Only after the parties, role, scope and permission to announce the relationship are confirmed. A conversation does not imply a partnership.
How can media contact XTF?
