The supplied xtf.logo.2026.svg is the sole drawing master. The name inside the mark is outlined artwork—not live type—and must never be retyped. Every monogram below uses the exact X, T and F paths from that master; no substitute lettering is permitted.

One red.
No approximation.

Signal Red follows EFF’s published brand red exactly. It is a decision color: use it for the mark, the primary action or one dominant campaign field—not as general decoration.

Force, information,
then reading.

The typography now follows EFF’s public style system rather than the previous IBM Plex fallback. All three families are open source and self-hosted in this site. No font purchase is required.

Structure makes
the tension.

The Pentagram/EFF work feels powerful because it is measured, not because it is crowded. Use hard edges, strong scale contrast, disciplined negative space and one visual event per surface.

A family of
public signals.

This field follows the supplied EFF reference at the level of composition: one quiet gray presentation surface, a measured six-piece matrix, two square formats beside one double-width landscape format, and the same construction repeated in red and black. League Gothic is locked to Regular, 0 tracking and 0.78 line-height.

Scale changes.
The signature does not.

Stationery keeps the source photograph's exact paper geometry and natural shadows while live type follows each object. The apparel image uses the approved vector geometry as a screen-print master, then integrates only ink texture, garment curvature and existing light.

Official when needed.
Human when invited.

The same identity system changes tone without changing geometry. Formal notices lead with reference and decision; invitations lead with occasion; greeting cards leave room for a personal message. Every format stays inside one hard frame.

One signal
across the room.

Environmental applications use the vertical signature only when its full name can remain legible. Large XTF letterforms create orientation; event detail stays in a separate information rail.

Editorial hierarchy.
Persistent action.

The website borrows EFF’s useful behaviors—not its content: issue-led navigation, decisive scale, featured/current work, compact lists, strong dividers and a permanent route to act.
